2018 Impact Grant winners announced

The Wayne County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce the awarding of three 2018 Community Impact Grants to help fund local projects in Wayne County.
This year’s recipients include the Hope Ministries Food Pantry in Geff to support their pantry expansion project; University of Illinois Extension to support the purchase of fans and tables for the 4-H livestock arena and general projects building at the fairgrounds; and the Geff Hatter’s 4-H Club for their landscaping renovation project at the Wayne County Fairgrounds.
A total of $5,000 was awarded for 2018 projects.
The goal of the Wayne County Farm Bureau Community Impact Grant Program is to partner with local groups and individuals on projects that will have a long-term impact in our community. This is the fifth year of the project. A total of $24,632 in grant funds have been awarded so far through the Community Impact Grant program.
