Get out your 2012 calendars and save the date for “2012 Crop Insurance – Are you Covered?” The program will feature Doug Yoder, Senior Director of Affiliate & Risk Management with the Illinois Farm Bureau.

Yoder has decades of experience in grain marketing and USDA programs that makes him uniquely qualified to discuss crop insurance’s role in a farmer’s overall risk management strategy. Yoder will also discuss details on USDA’s new crop insurance option called Trend-Adjusted APH, which will allow farmers to “update” their APH yields starting in 2012.

The program will be held on Tuesday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Frontier Community College’s Foundation Hall in Fairfield. The program is free, snacks and refreshments will be provided.
